Perhaps you’ve heard of the names Chin Han and Henry Golding. The Singaporean actor and Singapore-based actor/host have both been making waves in Hollywood, what with the former starring in films like Captain America: The Winter Soldier/Independence Day: Resurgence/Ghost in the Shell and the latter making his debut in Crazy Rich Asians.

Well, watch out for more of them in cinemas, ‘cause they’ve just landed new roles in upcoming Hollywood flicks, according to Channel NewsAsia.

Chin Han has been cast in action-thriller Skyscraper, which also stars Dwayne Johnson and Neve Campbell. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence), the film follows a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and US war veteran (Johnson, of course) who is on the run after someone frames him. It will land in theatres next July.

As for newcomer Henry Golding, who just wrapped up filming for Jon M Chu’s Crazy Rich Asians, he’s got an upcoming role in suspense thriller A Simple Favor alongside Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick. Golding will play Lively’s husband in the movie about a blogger who searches for the truth behind her best friend’s disappearance.

Always great to see familiar local faces on the big screen.
