This brunch buffet is more than a feast for the eyes

We Singaporeans are hardly ever starved for choice in the foodie paradise we call home. What better way to sample from the endless number of cuisines the city has to offer than from an elegant buffet spread? We’d tell you to bring your comfy eating pants — we just hope they’re well-tailored as it’s still a classy affair.

Now, not many buffets have different varieties on rotation, but the good people at Pan Pacific Singapore live life on the Edge. That’s right, the Sunday Champagne Brunch menu at Edge has been given a delicious update — and this rotation sees the addition of new dishes as well as the return of old favorites. 

Every Sunday, from 12:00pm to 3:30pm, you’ll be able to start off your meal with the classic assortment of Seafood on ice (not to be confused with the production Disney On Ice, but definitely worthy of a similar magnitude of applause), starring Alaskan king crab, freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters, Boston lobsters and an assortment of sashimi. 

A whopping 20 types of cheese are on offer and that’s not all, as they also offer Swiss raclette cheese, which isn’t available at a lot of other buffets. For those of you on a strict carnivorous diet, you’ll be well taken care of here. The mains are all about their signatures, and you’ll be treated to more than a feast for the eyes. Endless cuts of Angus beef and sous vide Kurobuta pork ribs, pan seared foie gras and lamb rack are at your disposal. 

Of course, classic Singaporean favourites such as Nyonya laksa with house-made prawn otah-otah and wok-fried silky egg seafood hor fun will make an appearance.

Now for the most important part — unlimited Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne. If that’s not your thing though, you’ll still be able to pick from a sommelier selection of premium gin, cocktails, red and white wines.

We probably don’t even have to tell you this but yes, you’ll want to leave some room for dessert. It’d be downright criminal to miss the variety of desserts to end your meal on a sweet note. Expect everything from molten strawberry chocolate cake and apple strudel, to raspberry hibiscus entremets and probably every kid’s favourite buffet staple — a chocolate fondue fountain complete with fruits, financiers, churros and more for dipping. Speaking of, there’s also a Kids’ Corner with a roving balloon sculptor that’ll leave your little ones thoroughly entertained (and adequately preoccupied, while you get up for another round of dessert).

The only gripe you might possibly have about this buffet is that there are too many things to eat and too little stomach space. Tragic.
