The Esplanade’s a great place to head to whenever you’re in the mood for free tunes, and this month, it’s all about classic and fresh original melodies by artists in the local music scene — both familiar and new faces.
For the entire duration of January, head over to the Esplanade Concourse or Esplanade Outdoor Theatre for a range of pop, jazz, rock and R&B by names like Chasing Daylight, Lost box, General Lee, ColdCut Quartet, wyd:syd, The Falling Feather and Groove Factory.
If it’s new music you’re looking for, check out Abby Simone’s acoustic gig, funky old school R&B group Astronauts, post-rock instrumental outfit Arajua, singer-songwriter Tammy Ying and R&B pop grooves by Maricelle.
