American saxophonist Kenny G will return to Singapore for a one-night-only concert.

One of the best-selling artists of all time, Kenny G, now 63, will perform in the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands on Feb. 18, concert promoter CK Star Entertainment announced yesterday. He last performed in Singapore in November 2018.

Tickets start at S$88 and go on sale Jan. 2 via the SISTIC ticketing website or its counters.

The pop saxophonist, whose real name is Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, became popular in the late ‘80s following the success of the album Duotones, and he dominated the easy listening genre through the ‘90s alongside the likes of similarly coiffed Michael Bolton.

He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music history, including Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and singer Celine Dion, and won multiple awards including a Grammy in 1993 for Best Instrumental Composition for Forever In Love.

His song Going Home is also incredibly popular in China, where it is played in stores to signal to customers that it was closing.
