May the 4th is over, but if you’re an avid Stormtrooper (no, not you, Western Union robber) who just can’t get enough of the Force, be prepared to be awakened as the Millennium Falcon and co. land on Orchard Road for the 10-day Star Wars: Experience The Force Festival.

From Sept 1 to 10, the shopping belt will host the festival, which will include the annual Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention, where you can see the likes of the AT-ACT Walker (the ones in Rogue One), as well as a replica of the iconic Millennium Falcon famously piloted by Han Solo just in front of ION Orchard.

Hit ION’s basement 4 to be transported into a galaxy far, far away, with the first virtual reality booths in Southeast Asia where fans can interact with the BB-8 droid or cop official merchandise that’ll go on sale at 12:01am on Sep 1 at the booth — appropriately named ION Station.

If you want your kids to learn the ways of a Jedi, there’s a Padawan training event for the little ones to pick up some lightsaber techniques and skills. Sessions are first come first serve, so get there quicker than 12 parsecs if you don’t want to miss out.

While waiting for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi to come out on Dec 14, at least us fans will get a temporary reprieve to keep the annual Star Wars jitters at bay. Click here to find out more about the event.
