His royal ginger majesty is gracing Singapore once again next year. After selling out two concert dates at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last year, Ed Sheeran will be making his debut at a much bigger venue: the National Stadium.

The date has been confirmed for Apr 26, with tickets going on sale this Thursday. But as everyone should know by now, tickets for the massively popular singer-songwriter’s show will sell out within hours, and scalpers will be reselling ‘em online. His popularity has been taken advantage of — four people were jailed last year for cooking up a scheme that allowed them to sneak in fans into the sold-out concerts using fake tickets.

Sheeran — loved for his music, not so much for his Game of Thrones cameo — will also drop by our Coconuts sister city Bangkok during the Asian leg of his tour.

Ticket sales go live on Oct 25 on SportsHubTix and at all SingPost outlets, with passes going from $68 to $248. Or over $13,000 if you’re that desperate for a scalped ticket.
