Hello and welcome to Yet Another Video Of People Being Disgusted By Durians! Yes, yes, we can all try our best to defend the honor of Singapore’s national fruit, but the fact remains that it’ll always be considered one of the nastiest things in the world.
The taste of durian is highly polarizing — to put it mildly — and will come across differently according to different taste buds. Popular Facebook page WatchCut recently exposed the thorny fruit’s flesh to 100 people who’ve never had it before, and the results are pretty much what you’d expect. Some love its fruity, creamy flavors, while others think it’s total garbage.
From the looks of it though, it seems like the video producers served unripe durian to the tasters, and even cut it wrongly (they sliced through the seeds!). These cats just didn’t do durian any justice — a fact that was pointed out clearly in the comments section.
