Penang hawker food comes to Singapore for 2 weeks in March at York Hotel

Eat your fill of street food from across the border at York Hotel Singapore’s popular Penang Hawkers’ Fare, where you’ll dine on your favourite dishes at a lunch or dinner buffet. (While you’re stuffing your face, don’t forget to do the Singaporean thing and compare the Penang offerings with local ones.)

Twelve hawkers will be flown to Singapore to recreate their signatures, which include dishes like Penang laksa, char kway teow, nasi lemak with nonya chicken kapitan, oyster omelette, crispy lor bak and more. And don’t forget to try the classic duck porridge, which is served with tender braised meat and pig’s innards, then topped with ginger and spring onions.

Desserts like ban chang kueh, ice kachang and chendol are also included in the spread — for those who want a sweet end to their meal.
