The past few months have brought a slew of new nightclub openings to offer more choices for all you night owls, with Mao in the CBD area and Avry at Millenia Walk. But there hasn’t really been a “bona fide Korean dance club”, so says 36, which claims to be the first of its kind in Singapore.

Situated in South Beach Quarter, the cozy Korean-themed club houses about 200 people in its Gangnam-inspired space, where neon UV lights, wall murals, and underground vibes abound. Expect to get high on soju bombs while resident DJs fire off a medley of K-pop, R&B, and hip-hop tracks to make you feel like you’re (almost) wandering the streets of Gangnam in Seoul.

Ladies get the preferred treatment with free entry on regular nights, while men will have to cough up S$30 to walk through the doors — but that price comes with two drinks included.

So if you haven’t firmed up your weekend plans yet, check out the vid below for an introduction to the club and its pretty party people.

36 is at #02-02 South Beach Quarter, 36 Beach Rd, 8186-4088.
