Busy CBD workers now have one more hawker food delivery platform to bookmark — besides ones like WhyQ — thanks to local start-up honestbee’s new service. For now, it’s only available for those in the CBD district from Mondays to Fridays, 11am to 2pm, but plans are in the pipeline to spread the service islandwide soon.

As for where you can get food from, it’s still a rather limited selection of stalls from Maxwell Food Centre (Lad & Dad, Kaki Lima, Tong Xin Ju Special, Tian Tian Chicken Rice), Amoy Street Food Centre (Chop Chop, Happy Duck, Sap Thai, Taste Affair), and Hong Lim Food Centre (Ji Ji Wanton Mee, Four Seasons, Warong Adelia). Here’s hoping the list expands soon.

But at least you can get colleagues to chip in with requests for different stalls within one hawker centre in one order, so as to save on delivery fees of $3.50 per order. Rally enough of your office and you’ll get the fee waived when your order hits above $35.
