Just joining the Les Amis Group, which houses restaurants like La Strada, Bistro Du Vin, and Peperoni Pizzeria, Lino is the Italian newcomer taking over the Binjai Park unit formerly housing Peperoni Pizzeria. In its casual, modern space, where both indoor and alfresco seating are available, the eatery serves pizzas and pastas, small plates, cocktails and coffees, and a range of natural and organic wines.
If you love your carbs in the form of pizzas and pastas, Lino’s renditions are all made in-house, with 48-hour proofed pizzas that are baked in a wood-fired oven. You can also opt for whole wheat or gluten-free pizza dough.
To start, sharing plates of charred brussels sprouts ($16), grilled octopus ($22), hamachi crudo ($21), and pork with fennel seed meatballs ($15) can be found in the appetizer section, followed by salads topped with burrata ($22) and roasted beetroot ($18).
Pasta enthusiasts can splurge on scallop risotto ($30) or crab meat pappardelle ($32), or go easy on your wallet with dishes such as gnocchi with tomato and basil ($20) and cappellacci with celery root and edamame ($22). If you’re watching your weight, try the zucchini noodles with basil pesto ($24) or barley risotto with wild mushroom ($26) instead.
Since pizza is one of the highlights, you can probably get a pie or two to share with your table. The selection here includes toppings like asparagus ($28), artichoke with crab meat ($30), spinach with cherry tomatoes ($24), and burrata ($28). To load up on the protein, pad your meal with large plates of wagyu bistecca ($68) and organic lamb chops ($62).
When you’re all done with the savory, Italian-style sweets like cannoli ($14), sorbet ($8), gelato ($8), and semifreddo ($16) await.
