Feast on free-flow lobsters in everything from laksa to maki rolls at this lobster buffet

Feed into your lobster frenzy at Melt Cafe’s Lobster Bonanza, where the spotlight shines bright on your favourite crustacean. Start off with appetisers like Maine lobster with balsamic poached pears and lobster maki roll, then move on to the live cooking station to watch chefs whip up lobster laksa with quail eggs and sambal chilli. If Asian spices never fail to hit your sweet spot, try the Thai tom yum soup with shredded lobster meat or Indian spice-marinated marron lobster with yogurt dip.

The seafood showcase continues at the Western Show Kitchen, where you can pick up dishes like oven-roasted lobster tail with brandy hollandaise and gruyere, lobster bouillabaisse and cognac-infused lobster bisque. Then make a pitstop at the pasta section for spicy lobster ragout.

Even if you’re all lobster-ed out by now, you’ll just have to soldier on and pile up your plate with desserts like pandan kaya ice cream with waffles, lychee cherry almond tarts, milk chocolate butter banana cakes and pink peach mousse cakes to end off your dinner buffet on a sweet note.

The Lobster Bonanza is on from Feb 7-21 (excluding Valentine’s Day), 6.30pm-9.30pm at Melt Cafe, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. Sun-Thurs $75/person, Fri & Sat $85/person; both include free flow juice.
