You’ve probably heard by now that Bali topped TripAdvisor’s list of the best travel destinations this year. Well, if you haven’t made plans to visit the gorgeous island for a traditional Balinese meal, good news — the culinary team from five-starred Ayana Resort and Spa is bringing its expertise in the kitchen to Town Restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore this month.

Highlights of the twelve stations include crackling babi guling (roasted suckling pig), yellow coconut curry king prawn, satay skewers of chicken, pork and squid seasoned in flavorful spices, and nasi jenggo, a coconut turmeric rice prepared with braised beef stewed in coconut, lemongrass and lime leaves. Oh, and local dishes like laksa and Hainanese chicken rice will also get their time in the spotlight.

As for the sweet stuff, expect a selection of Indonesian desserts like bubur injin (sticky black rice pudding served with coconut ice cream), jongkong tabu (pumpkin cake wrapped in banana leaves) and kolak ubi (sweet potato and sago stewed in coconut cream palm sugar).

After you’ve expanded your waistline at the dinner buffet, you’ll stand a chance to win a two-night stay at an ocean view suite in Rimba Jimbaran Bali.

Authentic Balinese Flavours dinner buffet is on from Apr 4-14, 6.30pm-10.30pm at Town Restaurant, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. Adults $56-$89, children $28-$44.
