Raclette made it to the list of trending foods in Singapore a while ago, so Cheese Addiction is a little late to the game… but the market for specializing in gooey cheese that can be scraped on to practically any dish — that will pretty much never go away. Just look at how people reacted to those videos of velvety goodness when they hit the social media circuit as the raclette obsession hit its peak. Craziness.

Anyway, hidden in the basement of Century Square, opposite Seoul in a Sandwich, the new takeaway stall offers a small menu of raclette-centric dishes, where molten cheese blankets everything from tori karaage ($6.90) to a mixed bowl of potatoes, shrimp nuggets, and shrimp cheese balls ($6.90), supplemented by cheesy baked pasta items such as kimchi cheese tteokbokki ($5.90), mac and cheese ($5.90), and wagyu beef bolognese ($6.90).

As if that’s not enough cheese, you can also get cheesy fries ($3.90) or cheese sticks ($2) to snack on. Or top your dish with extra raclette cheese for an additional $2.

The food’s not quite extraordinary, and neither is its location worth going out of your way for — but when you’re craving for a mouthful of melty, gooey comfort food, then Cheese Addiction will satiate that just fine.
