Fresh from his gig at Fairmont Singapore’s Anti:dote bar where he created an Asian-inspired tapas menu, Barcelona-born chef Carlos Montobbio is heading to Jason Atherton’s Esquina as its new executive chef.
“Esquina is a charming space that really reminds me of the vibrant tapas bars back home and I am very excited to be a part of it. I’ve always loved the process of creation and with this opportunity, I hope to bring a part of Spain I grew up with to the menu at Esquina,” says chef Carlos, who prmoses to refresh the corner bar’s offerings with his rendition of Spanish tapas.
