Ah Beng Foodie: One of the funniest food reviewers in Singapore, JB and some say Batam

Food reviews come in all forms of colourful and flowery words filled with culinary terms, and we’ve done a fair share of food reviews ourselves. But what makes a food review truly Singaporean?

Our answer lies with Ah Beng Foodie, the reviewer with a penchant for local lingo.

Reviews written in full force with English, Chinese (Mandarin and other dialects), and Malay, Ah Beng Foodie is one of the food reviews page that utilizes as much vocabulary within the Singlish dictionary as possible to provide an informal, funny and completely legit Singaporean flavor.

While not a big shot among food reviewer names like KF Seetoh, Ah Beng Foodie does have a steady following of over 4,200 people (as of writing) and a Wordpress site to boot. Expect regular updates as the Ah Beng scours the island to share all kinds of good food within and out of Singapore
