What’s new: Parts of Metro Manila flooded thanks to Falcon

No surprises here.

As early as 9am, Quezon Avenue was flooded, gutter-deep thanks to the rains caused by Falcon. Quirino and Taft Avenues were also flooded and were not passable to any type of vehicles.

As Wednesday wore on, the list of areas submerged in flood just kept growing and growing.

But more than the floods, La Mesa Dam hitting critical levels around noon became the bigger concern:
 

 

 

By 5pm, the biggest thing reported was the pickup truck that dangled off the Skyway. Which was quickly clearly without any reported damages or injuries, thank God. 

Still, we know the day is far from over. A lot of Metro Manila residents will still be driving home, so please! Keep your cool, go slowly, and keep safe.
