Zumba started as a Latin aerobic exercise in Colombia but it is now everywhere around the world.
Here in the Philippines, Zumba classes can be found in gyms, churches, barangay halls, and malls across the country.
A viral video posted by Tristan Cheng showed what happened when a guy who’s just too enthusiastic and ‘extra’ joins a regular class.
They were in a mall in Cavite to have dinner with his family when Cheng decided to join a Zumba class dancing to — appropriately — Abba’s Dancing Queen.”
“Oy! Zumba! Sali tayo diyan (let’s join),” the video’s caption reads.
“Officially 24 hrs. After I posted this random me crashing a Zumba class. and never have I imagined that It will be reaching 2.1 Million views in one day,” Cheng said on his Facebook page.
“Even if it’s embarrassing, the amount of messages saying ‘you made us happy, ‘you have really good vibes’, ‘you made my day,’ ‘you made laugh really hard,’ ‘thank you kuya’ are few of the reasons why I don’t regret posting this. Haha. Thank you everyone!”
The video now has 4.6 million views since being posted on Oct. 1.
