She has been with the family for two years.

Distressed employers asked for the help of police authorities in finding their household helper who allegedly stole about PHP3M worth of valuables from their home during Holy Week, GMA News reports.

According to Arianne Luna the suspect had been working for her family for two years, and was generally a good employee. However, weeks before the incident, the suspect started taking frequent days off. She also started drinking.

The suspect left the Luna household on Holy Wednesday, April 12. She allegedly took with her PHP3M worth of cash, gadgets, and pieces of jewelry, which she also posted on her Facebook account.

“She left us with nothing,” Luna said, adding that when they texted the suspect about the stolen items, she only replied with cuss words.

PO2 Sarah Julaton of the Caloocan Police reminded the public to be careful about trusting household help.

The suspect is charged with qualified theft.
