Traffic enforcer gets hit by a car, almost gets run over by a truck

It was not his lucky day.

Traffic enforcer Domingo Caraan was knocked down by two vehicles while manning his post in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City.

Caraan was standing in a middle of an intersection when he was hit by a  sedan. A cement-mixer truck approching from the other direction almost hit him as well, but the truck driver was able to hit his brakes right on time, reports GMA News.

The medics in the baranggay immediately gave Caraan first aid before rushing him to the hospital.

According to the officials who responded to the accident, the errant driver of the car intially denied that he hit the victim, but he later admitted that he was at fault after seeing the CCTV footage of the incident.

Both the car and the truck driver were brought to the Makati City Police Traffic Unit for further investigations.

Caraan sustained head injuries and bone fractures because of the incident. His family is still deciding if they want to press charges against the drivers.
