Employees of the Taguig City Hall of Justice were forced to evacuate due to bomb threats an employee received early this morning.

Taguig Police chief Senior Superintendent Alexander Santos said that it was around 8:30am when an unidentified court employee received a text message saying that there was a bomb within the premises, ABS-CBN News reported.

In response, the Taguig Philippine National Police (PNP) bomb squad and K9 units arrived at the scene to probe the area, radio station RMN said.

After 30 minutes of searching, authorities declared that there was no bomb at the building, Remate reported.

Phew, what a relief.

Things went back to normal and work resumed at the Taguig Hall of Justice around 10am, the report added.
