A soldier’s wife was found dead with her throat slit in her own home in Camaligan, Camarines Sur last week.
Ressian Dumagat, 31, was found lifeless by her husband Rejan Dumagat at about 9:40pm in their home in the village of Marumpit. Ressian was found naked in the lower part of her body. The police are currently investigating her death and have yet to determine if she was sexually assaulted.

Investigators found a cellphone and charger near the victim’s house. The National Bureau of Investigation will help the local police investigate the case.
The victim worked for an insurance company that was assigned to Bicol AccessHealth Centrum Hospital, located in Naga City. In a statement, the hospital sent its condolences to Ressian’s family.
“The Bicol AccessHealth Centrum community deeply condoles with the husband, son and family of Ms. Ressian Xhanie Bechayda Dumagat and extend its prayers for her eternal peace. We hope that justice shall be provided for this truly sad and unfortunate event,” the hospital said.
