The Philippine National Police has launched a war on selfies to remind officers that sharing their finest narcissistic moments on social media is not a good idea.
The memorandum was issued after a number of police officers posted selfies and group photos while conducting patrol operations, The Philippine Star reports.
Too harsh? The PNP is probably saving the cops from embarrassing themselves on Facebook.
Other things prohibited in the memorandum?
Playing online games (presumably including Pokemon Go), chewing gum, unseemly posture in public such as standing with one leg, scratching a body part and nose picking.
Chief superintendent Rolando Nana, deputy regional director for operations of the National Capital Region Police Office, also told police officers not to sleep or loiter in theaters and restaurants.
