Security guard, motorist bite each other over sticker debacle in Las Piñas City subdivision

A security guard of a subdivision in Las Piñas City and a motorist got into a fight over the friendship route sticker on the latter’s vehicle. It turns out the man driving the car had made the mistake of having the so-called friendship route sticker on his vehicle laminated.

The security guard had pointed out that it was against a city ordinance for the friendship route sticker to be laminated. The sticker serves as the security pass for all vehicles who wish to pass through the subdivision.

An ABS-CBN News report confirms that the ordinance is legit and has been in effect since 2006. The driver of the car, though, claimed that he has never heard of the ordinance. Plus, he said he didn’t like the way the security guard scolded him.

So, the motorist ended up biting the security guard’s finger. In retaliation, the security guard bit the motorist’s arm.

The guard said he wants to sue the motorist. Though the report didn’t say what the motorist plans to do.
