Scam alert: PAL warns public vs. fake PHP99 fare promo

No matter how many times people are reminded to “Think before you click,” they keep falling for scams.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is warning the public against a fake promo circulating online that’s using the company’s name.

PAL said that the fake PHP99 promo fare on PAL flights “is not authorized or sanctioned by Philippine Airlines.”

PAL pointed out that its seat sale promotions are approved by the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board (PCAB) and are usually publicized in their official social media accounts or in the airline’s official website.

In a statement, PAL asserted, “Rest assured that we will be coordinating with authorities to identify parties behind the website so we can take necessary legal actions.”
