Even bad guys have their bad days.

Police authorities are looking for two men who attempted to rob a courier company along Gil Marcos Highway, Marikina City, Sunday, April 23.

According to the security guard Jeffrey Lee, the suspects pretended to be customers before declaring a robbery in the LBC branch where he is working. Lee was dragged inside the teller booth when he attempted to fight the robbers, ABS-CBN News reports.

The robbers seemingly picked the wrong day to commit their crime because there was zero cash in the register. Out of frustration, they shot the cashier and another employee of the establishment.

Police Senior Supt. Lorenzo Holanda of the Marikina police said that the victims were hit in the stomach and thigh, which left them wounded and injured.

The unidentified suspects escaped using a motorcycle.

Investigations are still ongoing.
