Pedestrian bridge connecting NAIA-3 to Newport City to open in 1st half of 2017

The Department of Transportation has announced that a pedestrian bridge connecting Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to the Newport City leisure complex will be open in the first half of next year.

“Dubbed as ‘Runway Manila,’ the nearly 18-meter high, 220-meter long pedestrian bridge crosses Andrews Avenue and is being developed with Newport operator Travellers International Hotel Group,” reports ABS-CBN News.

The report noted: “The facility can accommodate 2,000 people at a time or up to 216,000 people daily.”
