Is Metro Manila being flooded with shabu?
“Authorities seized on Tuesday, January 12, more than PHP180 million worth of shabu (methamphetamine) in a buy-bust operation in Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City,” reports ABS-CBN News.
The report noted: “The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police Anti-Illegal Drug Group seized the 36 kilos of shabu from the car of two Filipino-Chinese nationals, Sonny Ang, 67, and Benito Tuseco, 47.”
After their arrest, the authorities discovred a warehouse supposedly used for storing illegal drugs. There, they found 12 milling machines which had been used to conceal the confiscated shabu.
