You get what you give.

Facebook user Mickey Arroyo shared a video last week of a motorist who gave him the finger while driving along Regalado Ave. near Fairview Center Mall in Quezon City.

According to Arroyo’s post, he was on his way to a Burger King drive-thru when a motorist was blocking the lane nearest the fast-food chain. In the video, the motorist can be seen not giving way then flipping Arroyo off.

Arroyo got pissed and can be heard saying: “Give way, brother, f*ck you,” in Filipino.

“Thanks to those who let me pass, to those who don’t, it’s okay, but to give me the dirty finger, I’m just not sure,” he said in his Facebook post.

What happened next is what Arroyo described to Coconuts Manila as “[H]eaven, as if I won the lottery.”

The motorist gave Arroyo so much attention that he forgot the first rule of driving (Look at the road!) and ended up hitting the jeepney right in front of him.

Instant bad karma? Arroyo and netizens think so.

King Mendoza wrote in a mix of English and Filipino: “Karma Hahahaha he was an ungrateful b*tch HAHAHAA POOR KID”

Omar Callueng wrote: “This is happiness”

FJ Pescuela said: “That’s what you get for being boastful hahaha.”

One user could relate and called out a friend to tell him to learn from the motorist’s mistake.

Abby Keil said: “Stop getting close to cars all the time, look what happened to him.”

Garry Perez added: “Karma is real haha”

The Facebook post now has over 695,000 views and 10,000 likes. While the dashcam footage date says “2017” Arroyo told Coconuts Manila that this was because he had just reformatted it and the date was wrongly set. He said the incident actually happened last Monday.

Manila’s roads are notorious for its bad traffic so accidents like this are far from uncommon. Have you experienced anything similar? Let us know in the comments section below or tweet us @CoconutsManila.
