Motorcycle-riding gunmen kill man, injur another in Bacoor attack

A man has died and another person was left injured when two motorcycle-riding gunmen attacked a Toyota Fortuner today in Bacoor in Cavite province.

There were three other people inside the vehicle who were left uninjured, including the wife of the man killed in the crime, ABS-CBN News reported.

According to the Bacoor police chief Superintendent Vicente Cabatingan, the suspects may have been tailing the vehicle along the highway.

The police didn’t disclose the names of the victims. Authorities are also in the process of identifying the firearm used in the killing.

According to the victim’s wife, one of the gunmen was their neighbor.

Cabatingan thinks that the crime was related to a conflict related to a land property. However, he didn’t elaborate if the property in question belonged to the victim who was killed.
