It’s not normal for construction site accidents to happen often, right? Lately, though, we’ve been reading more stories about such incidents.

Edwin Pasanes died after the crane he was operating collapsed inside the compound of a cosmetics company in Caloocan City on Tue night, Jun 14.
Caloocan’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) personnel were immediately at the scene of the accident, but Pasanes was already dead.
“The crane was in the third floor of the building on Reparo Street when it collapsed, crushing Pasanes to death in the process,” reports ABS-CBN News.
The cosmetics company has yet to issue a statement on the incident. They did not allow the media to get inside their compound.
Meanwhile, the family of the victim is asking for assistance from the company.
