Revenge can get intense.

A man is now injured after he was allegedly beaten up by a motorcycle rider he hit with his car last night in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

According to the unidentified driver, he was traveling from Fugoso St. in Sta. Cruz when he hit a motorcycle on Rizal Ave., Radyo Inquirer reported.

The motorcycle rider was thrown from his bike due to the force of the crash, ABS-CBN News said.

While it was the rider that was hit, it’s the man driving the car that would end up more damaged.

Both reports state that the motorcycle rider allegedly stood up from the ground while holding a gun, punched, and kicked the man inside the car that hit him.

ABS-CBN News’ Umagang Kay Ganda reported that the rider allegedly kicked the victim on the chest and then punched him on the head twice.

And authorities couldn’t do anything about it.

Village officials who responded to the crash said that they couldn’t stop the beating because the rider had a gun, ABS-CBN News reported.

“If he didn’t have a gun, we would stop him,” said Dominador Regala, an official from Barangay (Village) 335, Zone 33.

GMA News’ Balitambayan reported that the rider also allegedly kicked the car’s side mirrors, as seen in CCTV footage.

“Right now, I’m still a bit dizzy due to the impact of his punch on my head,” the unidentified victim told ABS-CBN News in English and Filipino. He said that he plans to file a complaint against the rider.

Authorities are still trying to identify the rider, who fled the scene.

According to the village officials, the area is prone to accidents because its traffic light doesn’t work.

Well, do something about it then?
