Police in Lake Sebu in the Mindanao province of South Cotabato found unusual evidence in a recent suspected suicide case.
The body of 29-year-old farmer Nonito Guinda Gal was found by his mother on Tuesday afternoon inside their home the day after he reportedly went missing, radio station Radyo Bida reported.
Found in the crime scene was a cell phone that contains photos of Gal tying himself up before allegedly committing suicide.
According to radio station Bombo Radyo, Teng Adam, the barangay captain where Gal lives, said that the victim was depressed because of family issues.
Apparently, rumors that Gal had a mistress had reached his wife who works abroad.
Police are still investigating the case.
