Too much of a scaredy-cat to watch The Nun? Just watch this viral animation and laugh your fears away.

Facebook user Benedict Del Rosario Jr. shared a now-viral video on Monday of a sketch of the film’s demonic nun Valak dancing to Bboom Bboom, the earworm by K-pop girl group Momoland’s.

The 6-second video shows Valak doing the signature dance moves to the chorus of the song. Del Rosario says in the post: “‘THE NUN-CY’ Trailer 2018.”

The Nuncy refers to Momoland’s Nancy McDonie. McDonie is arguably the group’s most popular member in the Philippines, as fans say she has a striking resemblance to local actress Liza Soberano.

Del Rosario told Coconuts Manila through a Facebook message that he made the sketch frame by frame, which he said took around three hours. He then used a video editing app to create the animation.

He said that he’s actually a seafarer by profession but loves to sketch in his free time. De Rosario shared that it’s his first time to animate one of his sketches, which is why he was “overwhelmed” when the video went viral.

“I didn’t expect that it would go viral,” he said.

The video had over 2.7 million views as of this article’s posting. Netizens were amused by the video:

Li Lee tagged a friend and said in Filipino: “There. Now don’t be scared.”

Quite helpful, actually.

Mav Felix tagged a friend and said: “This is your idol (McDonie) and the one you’re afraid of (Valak) in one.”

A certain Yvan Joe LasPiñas Tinguha requested for Del Rosario to do the whole chorus of the song.

Gillian Rose said: “I HOPE THIS IS IN THE POST-CREDITS [of the film].”

Same here, Gillian. Same here.
