No date this Valentine’s Day? No problem.
The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) announced on its Facebook page yesterday that the public can go on on a “furst date” with a rescued dog or cat from their animal shelter from Feb. 13 to 16, 1pm to 5pm.
Those keen to have a play date with rescued doggos and felines will just need to reserve a slot in one of the themed booths that will be set up at PAWS’ shelter located along Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City. The themes have yet to be revealed.
There will be a PHP300 (US$5.74) fee which comes with a drink, afternoon snacks, and a treat for the four-legged date. Gotta treat ’em right!
PAWS told Coconuts Manila that those who fall head over heels for their date can adopt a pet through their adoption process.
