In the middle of a raid conducted by 130 Bureau of Corrections (BOC) personnel on from 5am to 9am on Tue, Mar 22, authorities from the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) arrested a 24-year-old woman who tried to sneak inside its Maximum Security Compound.
“NBP Superintendent Richard Schwarzkopf revealed that the woman initially tried to get in by posing as a relative of an inmate. They later found out that she was actually a sex worker,” reports Tetch Torres-Tupas on Inquirer.net.
Schwazkopf said, “An investigation is ongoing on this incident.”
The report also noted: “During its 24th raid since November 2015, authorities seized a TV set, cellphones and chargers, a portable DVD, a coffee maker, and an old laptop computer. Several bladed weapons were also recovered but there were no illegal drugs and firearms found.”
