An elderly woman died after getting hit by a motorcycle earlier today in Village Sum-ag in Bacolod City.
According to ABS-CBN News, the victim, identified as Trinidad Nullas, was hit by a motorcycle driven by a certain Eric Montero when she crossed the street this morning.
Montero said in the same report that he already saw Nullas from afar and honked his horn at her. The victim reportedly stopped in her tracks but apparently proceeded to cross the street, causing her to get hit.
The victim reportedly died because of the injuries she sustained all over her body. Meanwhile, Montero was thrown off his motorcycle and also sustained injuries from the incident.
It is unclear if Montero will face charges.
