This certainly isn’t the sort of disturbance in the Force most people would think of.

Authorities in the Philippines seized PHP8 million (US$136,340) worth of methamphetamine aka shabu that was stuffed into plush toys of Grogu from Star Wars’ The Mandalorian, better known as Baby Yoda.

The Bureau of Customs intercepted the smuggled drugs, weighing 1.14 kilograms in total, in the Port of Clark in Pampanga. The package came from a shipment that arrived on Sept. 26 from Victoria, London, in the United Kingdom.

Customs officials searched the two Grogu plush toys, which were marked as “unsolicited gift – baby soft toys for personal use”. The dolls were found to contain three blue plastic bags filled with a substance suspected to be meth, which was later confirmed by lab tests.

The discovery then led authorities to arrest two suspects in Bacoor City, Cavite.

While smugglers continue to get creative in how they attempt to sneak illegal substances into the country, we can almost hear Han Solo saying:
