From the lineup, it seems like Subterrania Sessions, happening on Sun, Jan 31 in Quezon City’s Route 196, is more to our favor.
Because look: Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala are headlining the show, which is for the benefit of beloved writer Luis Katigbak.
Katigbak has been in the ICU since before Christmas, needing Dialysis and dealing with complications of diabetes.
Joining the three member from the Eraserheads are Lourd de Veyra, Dong Abay, Diego Castillo, Kakoy Legaspi, Ciudad and Tarsius.
According to Erwin Romulo, Subterrania Sessions is just the first of the very many benefit shows that Katigbak’s friends are planning on organizing. “And each show will be special. There will be no repeat performances, and each date will feature one-off collaborations,” he continues.
Katigbak is a Palanca Award-winning writer, Philippine Star columnist, and former associate editor of Esquire Philippines. He has three books to his name, the latest of which, Dear Distance, has only been released this week.
Go help Luis out and you’ll end up helping your culture-deprived self, too.
