The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has announced that it has received confirmation of 142 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos abroad, along with one new recovery and one fatality.

Recently, the DFA has reported triple-digit new Covid-19 infections, after weeks of cases being only in the single digits. This is attributed to the increase in reporting in Asia and the Pacific.

This brings the total number of cases among Filipinos abroad to 20,422, with 12,093 recoveries and 1,220 deaths. There are 7,109 active cases as of today.

Coconuts publishes weekly updates of Covid-19 cases from the DFA.
