There are those who say it’s high time that a law like this was passed.
“Isabela 2nd District Representative Rodito Albano III is pushing the ‘Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Act,’ which seeks to “provide accessible, affordable, safe medical cannabis to qualifying patients with debilitating medical condition,” reports Lira Dalangin-Fernandez on Interkaksyon.
Albano specified that under the bill the patients who get access to medical marijuana should be “certified by medical doctors and the Medical Cannabis Regulatory Authority.”
Albano is currently asking his Congress colleagues to co-author the bill with him.
