What kind of parent would pimp out her own kids to pedophiles?
A teenage mother in Cebu has been arrested for allegedly taking nude photos and videos of her two young daughters and selling the clips and images online.
“Melissa (not her real name) videotaped her two children aged 5 and 2 while taking a bath near a well in Barangay Buagsong, Cordova town on Mactan Island on Sat, Jul 30, when police operatives arrived,” reports Ador Vincent Mayol in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The report noted: “Melissa is now detained at the Fuente Police Station stockade in Cebu City pending the filing of charges against her. Since the victims are her own kids, the case falls under qualified trafficking, a non-bailable offense.”
Melissa claimed to be innnocent, but Chief Insp. Rose Santolorin of the Women and Children Protection in the Visayas said that based on their investigation, Melissa transacted with at least 70 foreign clients online.
She reportedly charged a fee of $70 per transaction.
