The New Bilibid Prison (NBP) was raided anew on Tue morning, Nov 24.

Using metal detectors, Army explosives experts raided the maximum security compound’s quadrant 4, where buildings 2, 5, and 9 are located.

Seized during the nearly five-hour raid were various firearms and bladed weapons. Some of these were found buried in the garden or hidden in pots.

Authorities also found gallons of fermented yeast and bottles of alcoholic drinks. They also confiscated a karaoke system, speakers, and television sets.

A radio DZMM report said authorities also found motorcycle parts, signal boosters, air conditioners, cellular phones, and aphrodisiacs during the raid.

Today’s raid was the fifth to occur this November. (from a report by Miguel Dumaual, ABS-CBN News)
