4 domestic flights cancelled due to ‘Butchoy’

PARAÑAQUE CITY — Four domestic flights of PAL Express and Skyjet were cancelled this morning due to bad weather.

They were either flying into or out of Basco, Batanes. 

As of 11am, Typhoon Butchoy (international code: Nepartak) was at 220 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, according to state-run weather bureau Pagasa.

It has slowed down while maintaining its strength as it continues to move closer to Taiwan, it said.
