Date: Starts March 28-31 (Thursday-Sunday)
Venue: Molito Complex, Alabang Zapote Rd, Muntinlupa City

The Moachella Summer Street Fair is back this weekend and as its name suggests, the event is inspired by the boho-chic style of California’s Coachella Festival.

Of course, it too will have live performances from artists of different genres like Hip-Hop, RnB, Reggae, and Acoustic. However, this fair is more family-friendly and highlights the mix of activities that will be available for everyone.

There will be giant board games and carnival booths, a dining area with various food and drink concessionaires, a crafter’s corner where local artists share handmade items, and even magic, mime, and street dance performers. Film lovers can also look forward to their outdoor movie night every Thursday.

The street fair starts tomorrow and will run every Thursday to Sunday until May 26.

Date: March 30, Saturday
Venue: Ayala Museum, Makati Ave. cor. De La Rosa St., Makati City

It can be intimidating to take on a new creative project but two workshops this week could make it easier.

Artists aspiring to create their own children’s book can attend the Illustrators at Play workshop by the Filipinas Heritage Library.

The workshop is for artists who are 18 years old and above and have at least a basic knowledge of illustration. It’s a great way to jump-start a picture book art project or hone drawing skills.

The class will run from 1:30pm-4:30pm and will be held in the Ayala Museum’s Glass Space. The fee is priced at PHP500 (US$9.51) for the session, materials, and snacks.

The workshop is part of the Filipinas Heritage Library’s ongoing exhibition PEEK-A-BOOK: Inside the Creative Process, which attendees can also check out for free.
