Do you want to work for Kris Aquino?

How would you like to work for the “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino?

Just because the former TV host and movie star has been away from primetime for quite some time, doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy.

She’s been so busy that on Tuesday, Aquino posted on her Facebook page that she’s hiring staff to help work on production for her online web series, a project she’s been busy with since ending her TV hosting stint on ABS-CBN in 2016.

Specifically, she’s looking for a production assistant/junior producer, a video editor, and a transcriber/subtitler.

Aquino has about 1.2 million followers on Facebook and posts several videos per week. Her kids Josh and Bimby, who are celebrities in their own right, make frequent appearances on the web show.

The videos are sometimes in talk show format with celebrity guests or are lifestyle-oriented segments like her Wear Kris and Kris Scent Selections series. The subtitler job sounds particularly fun considering that Aquino and her kids are probably the most meme-able family on the internet.

And based on the reactions and comments, it looks like Aquino will have a hard time choosing the right candidate. The post generated 1,500 shares and 2,500 comments.

Netizen Natalie Casamayor Acebedo said she would love to work with Aquino because she would probably give her “good vibes.” She added, “even if I were tired, I’d still be happy.”

Twitter account Producers of Manila said they were — in internet-speak — “shookt.”

If requirements to work for Aquino include being a super fan, Facebook user Mark Daniel Fernandez Marquez might fit that qualification.

He said in his public post, “Bye, guys, I’ll work for KCA (Kris Cojuangco Aquino) na po (now),” he said in a mix of Tagalog and English. “Please hire me. Promise, I’ll use foundation that matches my skin tone and I’ll be the first one to fight with Bimby’s bashers,” referring to Aquino’s youngest son, who gets bullied on social media often.

“I’m also a good transcriber. I type fast and to be honest, I know the confrontation scene in 4 Sisters and a Wedding (one of Aquino’s movies) by heart.”

Aquino isn’t the only celebrity to turn to social media after stepping away from the TV and the movie cameras.

Actress Judy Ann Santos also has a YouTube channel with over 91,000 subscribers called Judy’s Kitchen. On her channel, she posts cooking demos and other food-related videos.

While we don’t know yet if Aquino will ever return to television, she is definitely in the upcoming film Crazy Rich Asians, which is set for release this August.

Apart from being a successful media personality, Aquino is also the daughter of Philippine President Corazon Aquino and her husband the late Senator Ninoy Aquino.
