Art does not need to be stuffy — it can be fun, too.

The Tumba Tumba Children’s Museum of Philippine Art is an exhibit that aims to show the importance of having museums made especially for children.

Those with young kids will appreciate it for its interactive installations, like a “Cats & Ladders” board game, pieces inspired by children’s books, and illustrations with varying styles.

Visit it at the UP Vargas Museum before the exhibit ends on Friday.

Date: July 29, Sunday
Venue: Mall of Asia Arena, J.W. Diokno Blvd., Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City

Korean drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo was such a hit in the Philippines that the search term “Messi” trended on local twitter not because of a football match but because fans were referencing the drama’s now-iconic pick-up line “Do you like Messi?”

Now, fans of the show can finally meet male lead Nam Joo Hyuk when he comes to Manila for a fan event this Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

While he won’t be with his on-screen partner (and rumored ex-girlfriend) Lee Sung-kyung, those attending the event will also get to meet K-pop idol and Pinoy-at-heart Sandara Park.

Park, who grew up in the Philippines and got her start in local showbiz, is internationally known as one of the ex-members of the disbanded girl group 2NE1.
