Grammy Award-winning singer Celine Dion is a known legend in many countries, but she’s especially popular here in the Philippines, where her ballads have become staples in singing competitions and karaoke sessions.

This weekend, fans can belt out to her songs with her during a two-day concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Venue: Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila, 10 Newport Blvd, Newport City Complex, Pasay City

90s rock band the Eraserheads are considered as icons in the Philippine music industry. Their music has resonated with many, especially Gen X-ers who associate their songs with memorable events in their personal lives.

Now, their hits like Ang Huling El Bimbo and With a Smile have been given new life in a musical that will be staged at the Newport Performing Arts Theater starting Friday, July 20.

Written by Dingdong Novenario and directed by Dexter Santos, it tells the story of a group of friends who see each other once again after 20 years.
