On Wed, Jun 10, Senator Ralph Recto delivered some news that would make Vilmanians weep with joy.

Recto revealed to reporters that as far as he knows, his wife, “Star for All Seasons” Vilma  Santos, plans to retire and go back to show business when she finishes her term as governor of Batangas province.

“She’s looking at making more movies,” Recto was quoted as saying in a report by Ryan Chua on ABS-CBNnews.com. The senator added, “So, sa lahat ng kapwa ko Vilmanians, panoorin n’yo ang mga bagong pelikulang ilalabas ni Vi (So to all my fellow Vilmanians, watch Vi’s new movies).”

The report noted that “should Santos decide to run for a higher position, Recto joked that it would be for President, and he would be her Vice President.” “Many thanks to all those considering my wife. She’s very good. If I had my choice, I’d get her as my VP, too, I don’t think there’s any serious talk,” Recto stated.

Just putting the word out.
