This is the first time the Manila regulars — who just performed for a packed and extended three-night gig at Manila’s Mall of Asia Arena in July — will be heading south to headline Cebu’s four-year-old festival, where they’ll be gracing the one-night show with fan-approved ’80s-esque numbers and atmospheric synths. They’ll be playing their hit tracks and their latest album, 2018’s Malibu Nights.

Local Visayan acts Three Legged Men, Mandaue Nights, and Sepia Times, among others, are set to perform at the festival alongside the band.

Tickets go on sale on Dec. 16, Monday, at the Plus63 festival website. Venue and ticket prices will also be announced on the website on Monday.

Hailing from L.A., but formed in Nashville, the three-piece band — composed of Paul Jason Klein, Charles Leslie “Les” Priest, and Jake Clifford — have received plenty of love in the Philippines since they released their self-titled album in 2017 and toured in Manila the same year.

Their hits “ILYSB” (Lazy internet-speak for I Love You So Bad) and “Thick and Thin” are big earworms to devoted Pinoy fans. So much so that frontman Klein, who seemed to be feeling the adoration and hospitality, told fans at their July concert that they’re “coming back here forever.”

OK.
